Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management Data Domain seeks a highly organized Data Governance Lead to drive governance execution across the PWM data landscape. You will coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams and control functions to ensure data remains trusted, governed and fit for purpose.

Lead governance forums, oversee data quality and remediation, maintain the PWM data landscape, and ensure alignment with enterprise policies and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality management.
• Experience leading governance forums or steering committees.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional governance programs.
• Knowledge of data lineage, metadata, data catalog concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute and continuously enhance the PWM Data Governance Framework.
• Drive adoption of governance standards, policies, and controls across PWM.
• Define and maintain governance processes and operating models.
• Organize and run quarterly Data Governance Committee meetings.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of critical data assets, reports, systems, and data flows.
• Establish and monitor data quality metrics and governance KPIs.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
