Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 3+ years in data engineering leadership or tech lead roles.
• Strong insurance/financial services domain knowledge.
• Hands-on with Azure cloud services and Databricks/Spark.
• Excellent communication to bridge business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and project scope.
• Estimate delivery effort, manage timelines, and decompose designs into tasks.
• Lead architecture design through testing, deployment, and handoff.
• Interface between business stakeholders and data engineering team.
• Design and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines and data lakehouse architectures.
• Provide leadership for enterprise data platforms and best practices.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and cost optimization.
• Mentor mid/junior data engineers and foster continuous learning.
