Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced Senior Data & API Platform Lead to oversee Data Integration, Data Engineering and Data Management solutions across the organization. The role requires ~10 years in data solution design, project delivery, and IT leadership within financial services or insurance.

You will lead design, delivery, and governance of data platforms, build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure, and drive data analytics capabilities with BI tools, Synapse, and AI/ML

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Data Management, BI, and IT leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tooling, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Solid domain knowledge in Insurance is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery and management of Data and Data related projects and applications.
• Drive data initiatives with business stakeholders to align with goals.
• Oversee Data Engineering, Architecture, and Data Analytics efforts across the org.
• Manage delivery lifecycle including scope, schedule, quality, and cost.
• Ensure production support and vendor coordination for platforms.
