Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an Analytics professional to join the Data Chapter under GSTAR. You will work with stakeholders to conduct business intelligence and advanced analytics to proactively meet customer needs and drive business growth.

You will create visualizations, prepare MIS reports, and lead discussions on analytics results to support decision making. The role requires SAS/Python, Excel, and QlikView/Qlik Sense skills, with a customer-centric mindset and strong problem

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in data/business analytics.
• Conversant with PC applications including MS Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong programming skill in SAS/Python or any statistical software.
• Knowledge in building dashboards using QlikView/QlikSense or other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to conduct business intelligence and advanced analytics to discover customer needs and opportunities for growth.
• Create visualizations, prepare presentations and MIS reports with actionable insights for business stakeholders, leading analytics discussions to drive decisions.
• Leverage new data points and data models to generate fresh insights from different angles.
• Continuously explore cutting-edge data science solutions and evaluate new methodologies and use cases.
• Support business analytics initiatives and projects.
