Job summary

Citic Securities International is seeking a detail-oriented data manager to join the Research IT team. You will help design, maintain, and optimise data systems powering global securities workflows across markets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability, building pipelines in Python and SQL and delivering BI dashboards with Qlik to empower stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of data engineering, database development, or similar experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; understanding ETL workflows and data modeling.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Database management: maintain and optimise tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Cross-functional collaboration to translate requirements into data pipeline designs.
• Develop and deploy data solutions using Python and SQL for automated processes.
• Ad hoc data analysis: extract, transform, validate datasets with integrity.
• BI integration: develop dashboards/visualisations using BI tools.
• Performance optimisation: SQL tuning, indexing, to improve scalability.
