hermeneutic research is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, implement, and operate the full data infrastructure for Research and Trading. You will design workflows to ingest, transform, and orchestrate vast market data, news feeds, and external sources, ensuring quality and availability.

The role requires hands-on expertise in modern data platforms, strong SQL and Python/Java/Scala skills, and collaboration with research and engineering teams to enable data-driven model development.

Formación

• Strong data modeling and dimensional design experience.
• Expert SQL writing and performance tuning capabilities.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT pipelines in large-scale data environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for market data and news feeds.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and real-time monitoring across pipelines.
• Develop data warehouse schemas for cross-department use.
• Implement scalable, cost-efficient data storage solutions.
