Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with legal qualifications or equivalent negotiation experience in trustee company or regulated financial institution.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close complex contracts independently.
• In-depth knowledge of custody and settlement processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
• Ability to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and establish contractual standards.
• Independently negotiate and manage business contracts.
• Communicate proficiently in English and Mandarin with staff and legal counsel.
• Oversee custody and related processes: global, network custody, securities lending, collateral management.
• Manage licensed data agreements with attention to detail and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and legal requirements.
• Provide training and guidance on contract management processes to internal stakeholders.
