Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of hands-on Java development experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Proven experience in mission-critical enterprise applications with high availability and robust security requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; able to work under pressure in production environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise banking applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional IT teams to translate requirements into specifications.
• Participate in the SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, and UAT.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage deployments, upgrades, patches, and releases with minimal downtime.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide root-cause analysis and preventive solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture design and ensure alignment with security policies and enterprise standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and support long-term maintainability.
• Support continuous improvement by recommending improvements to functionality, performance, and reliability.
