Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society is seeking a senior Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of residential projects, focusing on foundation and substructure works, coordinating consultants and contractors, and ensuring timely completion.

Reporting to the Assistant Director (Project Management), you will supervise Clerks of Works, Resident Engineers and Building Services Inspectors, ensure compliance with the Buildings Ordinance, safety standards and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as MCIOB/MHKICM/MHKIE or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 15 years in construction management with senior-level exposure.
• Experience in foundation, substructure and residential construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple on-site construction projects through full cycle.
• Lead site team including Clerks of Works and Resident Engineers from foundation to handover.
• Ensure compliance with Buildings Ordinance, safety regulations and quality systems.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and coordinate with designers and contractors.
• Oversee handover, address defects and ensure timely project completion.
