Job summary

Crossings Executive Search is assisting a leading Financial Institution in Hong Kong to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining a private cloud platform and PaaS, aligned with security and compliance requirements.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure scalable, highly available cloud services and automate provisioning via IaC/CaC. Required are 5+ years of private cloud/PaaS experience, hands-on work with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of private cloud/PaaS experience.
• Experience deploying workloads on cloud platforms in hybrid/private environments.
• Hands-on with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, S3 and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain private cloud platform and PaaS.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalability and high availability of cloud services.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of IaaS and PaaS using IaC and CaC tools.

Our client is a leading Financial Institution. Due to business need, they are seeking a high calibre (Senior) Cloud Engineer.

Responsibilities

Work with vendor to design, implement, and maintain private cloud platform and PaaS in alignment with organizational security and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of cloud services.

Automate the provisioning and configuration of IaaS and PaaS through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system resilience.

Requirements

5 years or more of experience in private cloud platform and PaaS within IT environment.

Proven experience in deploying and managing workloads on major cloud platforms in hybrid or private cloud environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Linux, and cloud-native technologies.

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Fluent in English and Chinese
