Job summary

CITIC CLSA is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to support IE Risk Management in IT.

The role spans Prime Brokerage and risk domains, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Ops, Compliance, Finance, and Tech teams. Responsibilities include process optimization, test design, UAT support, and production rollout, with focus on margins, collateral, P&L, and risk analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience translating requirements into functional specs and testable designs.
• Knowledge of Prime Brokerage and Risk Management domains.
• Hands-on development exposure with Java is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Front Office, Risk Management, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Prime Brokerage and Risk Management initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and solution designs to support technology delivery.
• Perform business analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments to identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and vendors to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
• Contribute to solution design, system integration, data analysis, testing, and production rollout across the project lifecycle.
• Evolve the firm's risk management platform, including trade capture, position management, P&L, exposure, margin, collateral, and risk analytics capabilities.
• Support enhancement and expansion of ACE Suite, ensuring integration with front-to-back trading, risk, and ops platforms.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, support UAT, and validate delivered solutions against requirements.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment of objectives and outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, controls, and leveraging automation and AI where appropriate.
