Job summary

CPJobs International is seeking a dynamic sales professional in Hong Kong to promote waterproofing, insulation, plastering and other building materials to developers, architects and contractors. You will present technical briefs, manage project progress and close deals while expanding client partnerships.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales experience in related fields, fluency in Cantonese and English, and a proactive approach to learning new products. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience in building materials, construction products or related engineering fields.
• Familiar with the Hong Kong construction industry, project cycles and how architects/contractors specify materials.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and ability to discuss specs with architects/engineers/contractors.
• Strong relationship-building skills, commercial sense and a goal-driven attitude.
• Able to work independently, plan visits, follow up projects and close deals.
• Sociable, proactive and willing to learn new products and technologies.
• Proficient in Cantonese and English; able to draft English technical letters, quotations and proposals.
• Good written Chinese is highly valued for internal and client documents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell building materials to developers, architects, consultants, contractors, interior designers and end users.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and technical briefings to secure product specifications early in projects.
• Visit existing and new clients regularly, track progress and identify new opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry.
• Coordinate with internal tech and operations teams to support quotations, tenders and after-sales service.
