Job summary

BIT is seeking a senior backend software engineer to design and implement core systems for trading, accounting, and settlement. You will work on high‑availability infrastructure and ensure fund security across global platforms.

You’ll lead integration with Clearing Brokers and Execution Venues, design margin financing and derivatives risk engines, and collaborate with compliance, operations, and product teams to maintain robust financial systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years backend/distributed systems development.
3+ years core system experience at a securities firm or exchange.
Familiar with full order lifecycle and OMS/EMS design.
Proficient in FIX protocol and able to independently complete FIX Engine integration.
Deep understanding of clearing, settlement, and accounting mechanisms.
Strong engineering skills and good communication in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Design and implement core systems for trading, accounting, and settlement.
Lead system integration with Clearing Brokers and Execution Venues.
Build a broker-level accounting and end-of-day reconciliation system.
Design and iterate risk engines for margin and liquidation logic.
Design deposit/withdrawal/transfer flows to ensure fund safety.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fund anomaly contingency plans; collaborate with compliance, operations, product, and other teams.
