HONG KONG TUYI BUSINESS TRAVEL LIMITED in Hong Kong invites a Backend Java Engineer to maintain and evolve our hotel B2B platform. You will design, develop and operate backend services and APIs using Java, aiming for high performance and reliability.

The role requires 3+ years of Java backend experience, proficiency with Spring Boot, MyBatis/Hibernate, and MySQL, plus Linux deployments and Git-based workflows. Training at the Guangzhou HQ for six months precedes long-term work in HK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 21 and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot / Spring MVC / MyBatis or Hibernate).
• Solid experience with MySQL including design and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and Linux environments.
• Good written and conversational ability in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
• Maintain and optimise existing production systems: fix issues, enhance features, and tune performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and business teams to translate requirements into features.
• Conduct code reviews and write clear technical documentation.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and long-standing issues.
