Job summary

Hong Kong Economic Times is seeking a software developer to join our trading-support applications team. You will design, code, test, and install application programs, and ensure high-quality deliveries.

Based in Quarry Bay, you will work on back-office system integrations for Securities and Futures domains. The ideal candidate has a university degree, 1–5 years of relevant experience, hands-on Java, MySQL, and reporting tools, plus Spring Boot experience.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates considered.
• Knowledge of back office systems for Securities and/or Futures is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in Java, MySQL, and reporting tools.
• Experience in using Spring Boot and other open source tools.
• Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
