Job summary

• 2–5 years of experience in front office support or investment operations within asset management.

• Experience in derivative lifecycle management, collateral management, margining, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Automation, data analytics, and programming experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, VBA or data visualization tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with investment management systems like Bloomberg, Aladdin, or Charles River is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of money market, fixed income funds and related products, including cash forecasting and liquidity management.
• Act as primary operations support for FX and derivatives activities (FX forwards, NDFs, futures, options, IRS, CDS, TRS, Repos).
• Review derivative valuations, financing costs, margin requirements, collateral optimization and counterparty exposure.
• Monitor FX hedging and overlay activities, including cash flow projections and hedge ratios.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Risk, Compliance, Custodians and Fund Administrators to resolve valuation and operational issues.
• Drive automation and data integration for streamlined processes and onboarding of counterparties and platforms.

Senior Associate / Assistant Manager – Fund Operations

• Support the daily operations of money market, fixed income funds and L&I products, including cash forecasting and liquidity management, margin and collateral management, FX execution oversight, security lending and Repo/Reverse Repo, trade processing, settlement monitoring, and end-to-end investment lifecycle management (e.g., security master maintenance, corporate actions and broker onboarding).
• Act as the primary operations support for FX and derivatives activities, covering products such as FX forwards, NDFs, futures, options, IRS, CDS, TRS and Repos.
• Perform independent review and analysis of derivative valuations, financing costs, margin requirements, collateral optimization and counterparty exposure.
• Monitor FX hedging and overlay activities, including cash flow projections, hedge ratio monitoring, rollover management, and investigation of valuation or reconciliation breaks.
• Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Risk Management, Compliance, Custodians and Fund Administrators to resolve complex operational and valuation matters relating to fixed income, FX and derivative instruments.
• Drive digitalization and process enhancement initiatives, including workflow automation, data integration, investment data analytics, operational system enhancements, and onboarding of new counterparties and trading platforms.
• Support the launch of new products and investment strategies, including funds utilizing derivatives, leverage, overlay and liquidity management instruments.
• Prepare daily reports and support fund audits, regulatory reporting, tax filing and operational due diligence reviews. Maintain robust process documentation, operating procedures and internal controls

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in front office support, middle office, investment operations, treasury operations, capital markets operations within asset management industry.
• Strong understanding of fixed income and derivative products and market conventions, including bonds, money market, Repos, FX products and derivative instruments.
• Hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following products is highly preferred: FX spot, forwards and swaps, futures and options, IRS, CDS, TRS, or Repo.
• Experience in derivative lifecycle management, collateral management, margining, trade settlements, reconciliations, and investment valuation processes.
• Demonstrated analytical capability in assessing derivative exposures, funding requirements, FX hedging effectiveness, valuation movements and investment-related operational risks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Experience in automation, programming and data analytics is highly desirable. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, VBA and data visualization tools would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Aladdin, Charles River or other investment management systems would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret investment data, identify operational risks, and recommend process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and intellectually curious, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic investment environment.
• Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for Assistant Manager position or above.
