Job summary

Vintech Innovation Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to provide first-line production support for equity and futures trading platforms, mutual funds, and virtual asset operations, with on-call hours.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues, perform testing for upgrades, assist in UAT and deployments, and help ensure system stability across local and global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience in application support, preferably in the financial industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in a first-line support role using Ayers/Sharp Point or other OMS.
• Experience in supervision or in leadership roles.
• Knowledge of equity/futures trading, HKEx and global market connectivity.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line production support for equity, futures trading, mutual funds and virtual asset operations, and be available outside office hours if needed.
• Manage, resolve and investigate production issues with system vendors, focusing on equity and futures systems.
• Plan and execute internal testing for system upgrades according to company standards.
• Assist in user acceptance testing and execute system deployments.
• Assist in project management of application development projects.
• Maintain system stability and availability for local and global markets.
