Job summary

BBVA Asia-Pacific Equity Derivatives Trading team seeks an experienced trader to price and manage risk of client-driven activity across Asia-Pacific. You will price exotic equity derivatives, hedge risks, and monitor market data while collaborating with Sales Trading and other desks to maintain a robust trading book.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Finance or Engineering and 5–7 years of equity derivatives experience.

Qualifications

Master degree in Finance and/or Engineering.

Responsibilities

Manage trading book and trading positions.
Have a good understanding of markets and dynamically hedge risks against various potential market movements.
Pricing of exotic equity derivative products on Asia Pacific and global equity underlyings.
Mark and monitor the quality of implied market data parameters such as volatilities and dividend curves.
Closely work with Sales Trading, Sales and other Trading desks.
Carry strong emphasis on risk management and perform thorough risk assessments on a regular basis.
Comply with regulatory, contractual and internal rules and regulations.
In cooperation with headquarter, automate pricers and trading tools to improve efficiency and develop the desk capabilities.
Report on performance and potential issues to direct management, and more generally support management as and when required
