Job summary

Integrated Design Associates (IDA) in Hong Kong is seeking an agile, design-driven Architect or Senior Architect to lead conceptual design, resolve complex architectural systems, and deliver international benchmarks for large-scale aviation hubs, transit infrastructure, and high-performance retail developments.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, develop BIM workflows up to LOD 350, and ensure documentation meets project standards while maintaining a strong emphasis on design

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with good design skills.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience with good design skills for Senior Architect (a member of an internationally recognized professional institutes)
• Prior experience in aviation planning and terminal design or large-scale public infrastructure is strongly preferred.
• High level in design and / or construction knowledge of large-scale projects with International exposure.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on BIM (Autodesk Revit) project delivery experience up to LOD 350.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take a proactive role in the creative design process, translating design ethos into innovative conceptual schemes, methodologies, and comprehensive architectural documentation.
• Develop architectural technical solutions, facade/envelope details, and material specifications that uphold the project's design intent.
• Lead day-to-day coordination with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants to resolve complex spatial and technical interfaces.
• Conduct rigorous spatial organization studies, functional layout planning, and circulation analysis for complex typologies.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM workflows up to LOD 350, ensuring drawings, technical models, and specifications meet strict project standards.
• Monitor deliverables against contract scope, schedules, and cost frameworks, while ensuring disciplined filing and stage submission protocols.
