Job summary

Bank of Communications Hong Kong Branch is seeking a Senior Analyst for Operational & Strategic Risk to support the implementation of the risk management framework. The role involves reviewing incidents, conducting root cause analysis and tracking remediation actions to ensure issues are resolved.

You will partner with front line and middle office to embed risk controls into processes and advise on new products or business initiatives, while tracking KRIs and conducting independent reviews of

Qualifications

• Degree holder in accounting, business, economics, finance, international relations or a quantitative field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant banking operations experience
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• ECF achievement is the definite advantage

Senior Analyst, Operational & Strategic Risk

Supporting the implementation of Operational Risk and Strategic Risk Management framework

Reviewing operational incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analysis and tracking remediation actions to ensure issues are resolved

Partnering with front line, middle office to embed risk controls into processes and advise on new products or business initiatives

Tracking Key Risk Indicators and control reports. Performing Independent reviews of processes and controls, especially monitoring traders mandates, operational administration of trades

Assist to co-ordinate Business Continuity Plan and relevant drill tests

Degree holder or above in accounting, business, economics, finance, international relations or a quantitative field or equivalent qualifications

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, preferable in banking operations, Business Continuity Plan and relevant drill tests

Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese

ECF achievement is the definite advantage

Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered as Manager, Operational & Strategic Risk
