Job summary

Be Myjob Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Algo/Trading Systems Specialist to translate business needs into technical solutions and lead development across the full lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams on market data, connectivity, and execution management, oversee system upgrades, and deliver analytical insights while advancing algorithmic trading strategies.

The role requires 10+ years in trading system development and strong C# expertise; English communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 10+ years in trading-system development, preferably with algorithmic trading.
• Proficiency in C# or other OO languages.
• Strong understanding of equity trading in Asian markets.
• Experience with Oracle databases and advanced SQL.
• Knowledge of ML/AI theory is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent English; Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements.
• Analyze issues, assess system impact, and propose practical solutions.
• Provide expert support for the Algo system and resolve incidents.
• Monitor systems for performance and availability.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal trading disruption.
• Deliver insights and technical solutions for business challenges.
• Develop, refine, and enhance algorithmic trading strategies.
• Collaborate with Algo developers on full development lifecycle.
• Work with market data, connectivity, and execution management teams.
• Resolve operational issues and implement preventive measures.
