Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is assisting a fast-growing AI and fintech company to hire a Deputy Sales Director for Singapore. The role focuses on driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and building relationships with institutional clients in financial services.

The successful candidate will leverage an existing network, lead strategic partnerships, and present AI-driven research and data solutions to senior executives, aiming to exceed revenue targets in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Client Acquisition, or Relationship Management within fintech, SaaS, financial services, market intelligence, data solutions, or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities and achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's financial services landscape, including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, securities firms, or fintech companies.
• Existing network and relationships with financial institutions and key industry stakeholders would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior executives and decision-makers.
• Consultative selling approach with the ability to understand client needs and articulate complex technology solutions effectively.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is an advantage for cross-border opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and client acquisition within Singapore's financial services market.
• Identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities through networking, referrals, events, and partnerships.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across institutional clients.
• Present and promote AI-driven financial research and data solutions.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams for onboarding and retention.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform go-to-market strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events to enhance market presence and brand awareness.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence updates for management.
