EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI-Centric Delivery team in Hong Kong. You will go beyond coding to design and orchestrate AI agents and agentic workflows that accelerate development velocity across global projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering background with Java, JavaScript, Python or .NET.
• Hands-on with large language models such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, or Google Gemini.
• Experience building agentic workflows with tool use, memory, and multi-step reasoning.
• Strong understanding of RAG architectures and prompt engineering.
• Execution-focused with emphasis on building, testing and shipping working solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI developer agents for codebases at scale.
• Shift from manual coding to agentic workflows while staying hands-on.
• Deliver high-velocity prototypes to prove AI-powered engineering.
• Integrate AI-enabled workflows into the stack with Git, Jira and CI/CD.
• Consult with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-SDLC solutions.
• Explain trade-offs of agentic design aligned with enterprise goals.
