EDPS Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst Programmer to support a government department''s application development and enterprise AI initiatives. You will develop and enhance applications, support AI platforms, and assist with technical reviews and project delivery.

The role requires hands-on programming in Java and/or Python, along with experience in end-to-end development within a government IT environment.

Qualifications

7+ years IT experience with at least 3 years as Analyst Programmer or similar.
At least 3 years in government IT environments.
At least 2 years of end-to-end application development (coding, testing, deployment, post-launch support).
Strong programming in Java and/or Python.
Experience with backend APIs and HTTP protocols (REST).
At least 2 years in IT application development/management.
At least 1 year in HTML5; SSADM experience.

Responsabilités

Assist in implementing, operating and maintaining enterprise AI platforms.
Support reviews of new projects, AI adoption proposals and technical evaluations.
Prepare technical specs, briefs and project documentation for AI infra and software tools.
Ensure designs align with government IT frameworks and policies.
Perform system administration and maintenance for AI workloads.
Develop, test and enhance application programs and foundation services with QA in mind.
Monitor project progress and track contractor deliverables.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal teams and end users.
Maintain and update the department's Enterprise Architecture framework.
