Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Accountant to cover Hong Kong Golf & Tennis Academy as part of the Cluster Finance team.

You will manage general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AP and payroll administration for multiple business units, ensure accuracy and timely reporting, and support audits.

Strong IFRS/HK accounting knowledge, multi-system experience, and solid English communication preferred; Cantonese/Mandarin a bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CPA/ACCA/HKICPA preferred.
• Solid experience in general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Hotel/club/multi-unit environment experience is a plus.
• Strong technical execution, analytical mindset, and accuracy.
• English communication skills; Cantonese/Mandarin a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post and review journal entries including accruals and reversals.
• Review standard accounting records for audit trails.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and GL analyses.
• Investigate variances and resolve accounting differences.
• Execute daily and month-end close tasks and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and document queries for management.
• Prepare budgets, cashflow and forecast.
• Review invoices, payments and AP documentation.
• Monitor aging, follow up on un-invoiced items.
• Support AR activities and revenue reporting accuracy.
• Assist income audit processes and payroll-related controls.
• Verify payroll-related support and related sub-ledgers.
