Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support accounting and financial operations across its three private clubs business unit. You will handle general ledger, journal processing, month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable, reporting support and audit coordination.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Hospitality, hotel or club industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and support process improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams in a multi-entity environment.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger operations, including journal entries, reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules, account analyses and financial reports.
• Assist with accounts payable activities and ensure transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with established controls.
• Assist with cost control, inventory reconciliations and financial data reviews to maintain reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate audit schedules, supporting documentation and compliance requirements for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Talent & Culture and other stakeholders to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
