Job summary

POTUS Medical (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Accounting Officer to manage a full set of accounts in Hong Kong. The role involves month-end and year-end closing, preparing financial statements and ensuring payment controls are enforced.

Requirements include a Higher Diploma in Accounting/Finance with LCC Level 3, at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong MS Office skills, and fluent English and Chinese. Immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High Diploma in Accounting/Finance with LCC Level 3 Certificate or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of solid accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts independently.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare daily vouchers, verify invoices and enforce payment control processes.
• Payment enquiries and handling.
• Reconciliation of vendor statements, ledger and accounts.
• Monitor bank payments and transactions according to internal policies.
• Prepare supporting schedules to substantiate general ledger balances.
• Liaise with auditors and assist with audit and tax reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting projects, assignments and duties as required.
