Job summary

STMicroelectronics Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an engineer to analyze zero/low yield wafers and drive yield improvement. You will collaborate with Modules to resolve process issues and ensure smooth line flow to meet customer delivery.

You will characterize process windows to achieve robustness, liaise with ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG divisions and support technology transfer with timely execution. Weekly yield updates and MRB dispositions are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of semiconductor physics and device behavior across MOSFETs, diodes and power devices.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with electrical characterization equipment (parametric testers, curve tracers, SMUs, LCR meters, probers).
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (front-end, diffusion, implantation, oxidation, lithography, etch, metallization).
• Data analysis using JMP, Excel, or similar tools.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Analyze zero or low yield wafers to drive yield improvement.
• Resolve process issues in collaboration with Modules to ensure smooth line flow and on-time delivery.
• Characterize process windows to achieve robustness.
• Liaise with division teams (ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG) and support tech transfers with defined timelines.
• Join weekly conference calls with the division for yield/D0 updates and yield master planning.
• Conduct MRB meetings with Division on disposition of SBL lots on a weekly basis.
