Job summary

STMicroelectronics Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an engineer to analyze zero/low yield wafers and drive yield improvement. You will collaborate with Modules to resolve process issues and ensure smooth line flow to meet customer delivery.

You will characterize process windows to achieve robustness, liaise with ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG divisions and support technology transfer with timely execution. Weekly yield updates and MRB dispositions are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of semiconductor physics and device behavior across MOSFETs, diodes and power devices.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with electrical characterization equipment (parametric testers, curve tracers, SMUs, LCR meters, probers).
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (front-end, diffusion, implantation, oxidation, lithography, etch, metallization).
• Data analysis using JMP, Excel, or similar tools.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Your role

• To analyse on zero yield wafers or low yield wafers so as to achieve yield improvement.

• To resolve any process issues in collaboration with Modules and ensure smooth flow in the line to meet customer delivery.

• To characterize all process windows to achieve process robustness.

• Liaise with division teams from ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG and support technology and product transfer activities with compliance with the defined timelines

• To liaise with Division in weekly conference call for yield/D0 update and yield master plan.

• To conduct MRB meeting with Division about the disposition of SBL lot in weekly basis.

Requirements

• Good acknowledge insemiconductor device physics(MOSFETs, BJTs, diodes, power devices)

• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic engineering

• Experience withelectrical characterizationequipment (parametric testers, curve tracers, SMUs, LCR meters, probers).

• Basic knowledge ofsemiconductor manufacturing processes(front-end fabrication, diffusion, implantation, oxidation, lithography, etch, metallization).

• Data analysis skills using tools such asJMP, Excel, or similar.
