Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Security Officer to join the Security team. Based at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Security Department, the officer performs post duties and reports to the Security Manager.

As Security Officer, you will handle access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and guest/staff assistance during emergencies. A valid Security Personnel Permit is required; shift work is included.

Qualifications

• Form 5 or above
• 1–2 years related working experience
• Fluent in Cantonese, and basic English & Mandarin
• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit
• First Aid, CPR and AED Training is an advantage
• Knowledge of CCTV, BMS & AFA systems
• Experienced in report writing and investigations
• Shift duty is required

Responsibilities

• Perform hotel security daily duties such as access control, regular patrol and incident handling
• Monitor CCTV, Perimeter-Alarm System, and Fire Life Safety System
• Perform daily administration of hotel's key control program
• Perform the lobby duty
• Respond to accidents and assist guests/staff during emergencies
• Protect and safeguard guests, staff, belongings and hotel assets
• Support and comply with regular safety audits and reviews

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Security Department in Hong Kong, the Security Officer is responsible for completing responsibilities for performing all post duties and assignments strictly. The Security Officerreports to theSecurity Manager.

As Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform Hotel security daily duties such as access control, regular patrol and incident handling
• Monitor CCTV, Perimeter-Alarm System, and Fire Life Safety System
• Perform daily administration of hotel's key control program
• Perform the lobby duty
• Respond to all accidents and assist guests / staff during emergency situations
• Protect and safeguard all guests and staff, their belongings and all hotel assets
• Support and comply with regular safety audits and reviews respectively.

As Security Officer, we expect from you:

• Form 5 or above
• At least 1-2 years related working experience
• Fluent in Cantonese, and basic English & Mandarin
• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit
• Holder of First Aid, CPR and AED Training is an advantage
• Knowledge of CCTV, BMS & AFA systems
• Experienced in report writing and in carrying out investigations
