Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Hong Kong seeks a Security Manager to ensure daily operations of the Security Department, safeguard hotel assets, and manage manpower for events.

The role requires a Diploma or certificate in Security Management with a valid Security Personnel Permit and a driving license, at least 5 years in the hotel or security industry with 3 years in supervision, and strong leadership, bilingual English and Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Security Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in hotel or security industry, with 3 years in supervisory roles.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; bilingual English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Security in planning, organizing, supervising staff and quality controls in the Security Department.
• Manage duty rosters, leave requests and manpower planning for special events and VIP functions.
• Attend all necessary meetings and disseminate all relevant information to Shifts Supervisors, ensuring team maintains crime awareness and protection of hotel assets.
• Handle incident reports, accident reports, E-log reports and maintenance records.
• Deliver security training to team members and other Departments.
