Job summary

Shangri-La Group’s Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, seeks a Senior Security Officer to oversee access control, patrols and emergency response, ensuring a safe and secure environment in line with Shangri-La’s service standards.

You will uphold guest safety while protecting guests, visitors and colleagues, with strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication. A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role and HK Security Personnel Permit are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotel industry.
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Able to work independently.
• Possession of Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for access control and patrols.
• Response to emergency events according to standard safety procedures.
• Maintain hotel security and protect safety and assets of guests, visitors and employees.

About The Role

As a Senior Security Officer, you will be overseeing access control, patrols, and emergency response to ensure a safe and secure environment aligned with Shangri-La’s service standards

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for access control and patrols
• Response to emergency events according to the standard safety procedures
• Maintain Hotel security and protect safety and assets of all Hotel guests, visitors, employees
• Project a professional, efficient and reassuring image to all Hotel guests, visitors and employees

About You

• Minimum 2 year of relevant experience, preferably in the Hotel Industry
