Job summary

Qualifications

Strong development experience in Go, Python, NodeJS and/or Rust.
Good understanding of network programming.
Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, authorisation and common security threats.
Comfortable working in Linux environments.
Good understanding of testing, CI/CD and software development practices.
Experience with backend systems, databases, caching and microservices.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Interest in using AI tools to support software development and learning.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software for security-sensitive and network-facing applications.
Develop and integrate software using Go, Python, NodeJS and/or Rust.
Work with networking and security protocols, including TCP/UDP, sockets and TLS.
Integrate cryptographic functions using established libraries.
Improve software performance, reliability and efficiency.
Develop and maintain unit, integration and security tests.
Participate in code reviews, security reviews and vulnerability fixes.
Troubleshoot and contribute to services written in Go, C++ or Python.
Work closely with security, platform and infrastructure teams
