Job summary

Societe Generale is seeking a backend engineer in Hong Kong to master SG Agile practices and SG cloud platforms. You will work independently to deliver technical solutions, contribute to the roadmap, and support production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Core Java and Spring Boot in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker and cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

• Master SG Agile software development practices and SG cloud platforms.
• Work independently as contributor to deliver fixes and solutions.
• Deliver on technical roadmap and support production issues.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, releases and Level3 support.
• Enhance monitoring to reduce investigation time.
• Communicate with business and IT stakeholders regionally and globally.
• Engage stakeholders to understand technology needs.
