Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a Securities Admission operations professional to manage the end-to-end admission of new securities, including FINI EIPO, with coordination across issuers, registrars, listing agents, regulators, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes compliance with clearing house rules, process improvements, and risk reduction, while supporting post-admission matters and ongoing eligibility management in a fast-paced, high‑stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in reputable financial institutions.
• Knowledge of asset servicing and nominee/custodial operations across equities, debt securities, and derivatives in Hong Kong; Mainland China exposure is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ICSDs such as Euroclear and Clearstream is highly desirable.
• Strong team player with the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese word processing; knowledge of Macros and VBA is an advantage.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily Securities Admission operations in compliance with clearing house rules and internal policies.
• Review issuers’ listing documents and oversee the full lifecycle of FINI EIPO, including coordination with stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement operational process enhancements to improve efficiency, control, and service quality.
• Support automation and process reengineering initiatives to reduce manual processing and operational risk.
• Identify exceptions and contingency situations in a timely manner and elevate issues to management as appropriate.
