Job summary

English Schools Foundation’s Renaissance College in Hong Kong is seeking a Laboratory Attendant to support science laboratories, assist technicians and help maintain equipment.

You will wash and dry glassware, tidy labs, manage resources, ensure safe storage, and follow Health and Safety protocols. A F.5 graduate with bilingual English/Chinese skills and the ability to work under pressure is required.

Qualifications

• F.5 graduate or equivalent.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Able to transport laboratory equipment across floors.
• Initiative, independence, organisation and time-management.
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory technicians in the operation and maintenance of Science laboratories.
• Washing and drying glassware.
• Cleaning and tidying labs.
• Purchasing and organising resources for classroom use.
• Ensure proper and safe storage of equipment and materials.
• Carry out necessary cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Inform technicians of equipment that requires replacement or maintenance.
• Delivering and retrieving materials for practical lessons.
