Job summary

ALS is seeking a laboratory technician in Hong Kong to join a diverse team focused on chemical testing for Environmental, Food, or Traditional Chinese Medicine samples. You will help ensure timely turnaround and support R&D activities.

The role requires basic lab skills, proficiency with Excel and Word, and good English and Chinese communication. Fresh graduates are welcome, with opportunities for training and career growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Higher Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Environmental or other science related subjects or Level 4 or above under Qualifications Framework.
0-1 year of testing laboratory experience.
Fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

Prepare and perform chemical testing for Environmental, Food or Traditional Chinese Medicine samples.
Meet turnaround time requirements.
Assist research and development work.
Calibrate equipment per lab quality documents.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform calculations for analytical methods.
Carry out tasks as directed by supervisors.
