Job summary

The International French School (Singapore) Ltd. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support biology and science programs. You will prepare practical work, set up equipment, and maintain safety in the laboratory.

This full-time role requires strong English and French communication, meticulous organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position runs 42 hours per week with school-year holidays.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic Diploma in Biology or General with significant experience
• Good knowledge of biology required and geology desired
• Experience in a laboratory appreciated
• Good command of English language and ability to communicate in French

Responsibilities

• Prepare TP for secondary students in biology; organize materials and set up benches
• After TP, tidy and clean equipment and handle chemicals as needed
• Maintain and manage stocks of equipment and products; update inventory
• Assist with purchases; obtain quotes from local suppliers and check orders
• Ensure compliance with safety rules in the laboratory
• Develop and update worksheets for practical courses
• Ensure cleanliness of workbenches and lab
• Presence required: 7:30 AM Mon-Fri; one week after school year end and one week before start
