Job summary

St. Hilary's Primary School is seeking a School Activities Officer to assist with OLE courses across SH schools.

The role requires extensive knowledge of sports, music and OLE activities, plus strong health and safety understanding and prior experience in OLE activities management with children. The successful candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and capable of communicating clearly with trainers and staff to maintain high standards of practice while delivering a culturally enriching

Qualifications

• University degree in Sports Science, Music, activities management or a related discipline.
• Coaching qualifications preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient IT skills with Word, Excel and other online applications.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese; Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience coaching and OLE activities management with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist SH schools’ OLE courses and support OLE trainers.
• Build friendly but professional rapport with OLE trainers and lead them effectively.
• Set standards and norms of good practice and resolve problems promptly.
• Be hardworking, reliable and professional, willing to help colleagues and maintain smooth OLE operations.
• Provide an educational, culturally-enriching OLE experience in a safe setting.
• Check session plans, conduct observations and monitor student engagement and outcomes.
