Job summary

Infosys in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead SAP ERP Public Cloud architecture for retail clients. You will define the enterprise architecture roadmap, design scalable, secure solutions, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

You will collaborate with business and IT teams to align technology with long-term retail strategy. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills, with deep experience in cloud architectures and SAP Public Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Professional architecture certification (e.g., SAP Certified Enterprise Architect, TOGAF) preferred.
• 8+ years of system or enterprise architecture design experience, 3+ years SAP ERP Public Cloud architecture experience.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong retail regulations is a plus.
• Excellent technical documentation, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define SAP ERP Public Cloud architecture roadmap aligned with client retail strategy.
• Design core business, data, integration and security architectures for SAP Public Cloud.
• Create integration interfaces with e-commerce, WMS, CRM and financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong data privacy laws and SAP security standards.
• Provide guidance to project architects and consultants; supervise implementation to standards.
• Stay updated on SAP Public Cloud trends and apply best practices.
• Support multi-store retail expansion and regional integration.

Job Summary

Responsible for the overall system architecture design and planning of SAP ERP Public Cloud projects for Hong Kong retail clients, aligning system architecture with client long-term business development strategy. Design standardized, scalable and compliant enterprise-level architecture solutions, integrate SAP ERP Public Cloud with client existing retail business systems, ensure the architecture meets retail business scalability, data security and Hong Kong local regulatory requirements, and guide the project team to implement architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture Strategy & Planning Combined with the retail client’s business development strategy (omnichannel retail expansion, regional business layout, digital transformation), formulate the overall enterprise architecture roadmap for SAP ERP Public Cloud, define architecture principles, standards and norms. Evaluate the client’s current IT architecture, identify architecture pain points, and design target enterprise architecture matching SAP ERP Public Cloud to meet the long-term operation needs of retail enterprises.
• SAP ERP Public Cloud Architecture Design ,
• Design enterprise-level architecture solutions for SAP ERP Public Cloud, including core business architecture, data architecture, integration architecture and security architecture for retail scenarios. Ensure the architecture follows SAP clean core principles, minimizes custom development, and adapts to the characteristics of public cloud deployment, while meeting the unique business needs of Hong Kong retail (such as cross-store management, membership integration, tax compliance).
• System Integration & Business Collaboration Architecture Design the integration architecture between SAP ERP Public Cloud and retail client’s existing systems, including e-commerce platforms, warehouse management systems (WMS), customer relationship management (CRM) and financial reporting systems; formulate standardized integration interfaces and data interaction mechanisms to realize business process collaboration. Ensure the architecture supports retail business scalability, such as new store opening, new business line expansion and multi-regional business docking.
• Compliance & Security Architecture Governance Design enterprise-level data security, authority management and risk control architecture in accordance with Hong Kong data privacy laws, retail industry regulatory requirements and SAP public cloud security standards. Formulate architecture governance norms, review and approve key architecture decisions, supervise the project team to implement architecture requirements, and avoid architecture deviations.
• Technical Guidance & Team Support
• Provide professional architecture guidance for the project’s system architects, functional consultants and technical consultants, solve key technical and architecture problems in the implementation process. Cooperate with client IT architecture team to review architecture solutions, promote the implementation of architecture standards, and ensure the consistency between the final delivered system and the target architecture.
• Industry Best Practices Application
• Track the latest technical trends of SAP ERP Public Cloud and retail industry digitalization, apply enterprise architecture best practices to project implementation, and help clients optimize business processes and IT architecture to improve operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields; professional architecture certification (such as SAP Certified Enterprise Architect, TOGAF) is preferred.
• 8+ years of system or enterprise architecture design experience, 3+ years of SAP ERP Public Cloud architecture practice experience, with in-depth retail industry architecture design experience, especially familiar with retailing business scenarios.
• Master of SAP enterprise architecture framework, SAP ERP Public Cloud system architecture, cloud computing architecture and enterprise system integration technology; familiar with Hong Kong local data compliance and retail industry regulations would be a plus.
• In-depth understanding of core retail business processes, including merchandise management, sales, inventory, finance and omnichannel operations; able to combine business and technology to design feasible enterprise architecture solutions.
• Excellent technical documentation, communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate architecture solutions with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is must; strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
