Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design, implement and support enterprise applications and cloud solutions across hybrid environments. You will work with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, resilient end-to-end solutions and partner with security and infrastructure teams to maintain best practices.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure and Alibaba Cloud, PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture, design and implementation.
• Experience deploying applications across multi-cloud environments, especially Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Solid knowledge of hub-and-spoke architectures, landing zones, WAF, load balancers, CDN, and containers.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis for data platforms.
• Experience with API design and SOA.
• Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong collaboration and leadership in project teams.

This role is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting enterprise application and cloud solutions across hybrid environments. The position requires extensive solution architecture experience, strong development skills and expertise in cloud, integration and data platform technologies.

Our client is a well-established organisation seeking an experienced technology professional to support enterprise systems, cloud platforms and solution architecture initiatives within a complex digital environment.

Description

• Gather, analyse and interpret business needs, operational challenges and strategic objectives.
• Partner with application development teams to architect and deliver scalable, secure, resilient and cost-efficient end-to-end solutions.
• Provide technical support for existing systems, perform troubleshooting, and drive continuous enhancement and optimisation initiatives.
• Assess and recommend suitable technologies and platforms to meet business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with information security stakeholders to ensure adoption of security best practices across solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to design, implement and support a stable hybrid cloud environment spanning on-premises and public cloud platforms.
• Perform solution architecture design, risk evaluations and system performance optimisation.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, data governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system flows, integration designs and component specifications.
• Provide recommendations on technology stacks, frameworks and supporting tools.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture, system design and implementation.
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications across multi-cloud environments, particularly Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Solid understanding of hub-and-spoke architectures, landing zones, custom domains, application gateways, web application firewalls (WAF), load balancers, CDN services, virtual machines, web services, container technologies and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working with infrastructure teams to configure, maintain and scale on-premises software platforms supporting production environments.
• Practical experience in system integration, API design and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Advanced expertise in establishing and managing enterprise-grade on-premises data platforms, including mandatory hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies is highly advantageous.
• Experience developing, training or integrating AI/ML solutions into production environments is a strong advantage.
• Fluent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach and commitment to achieving objectives.
