Job summary

BBVA Hong Kong is seeking a senior equity derivatives professional to drive client engagement and optimize sales operations across Asia, focusing on institutional coverage in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in structured products, a data-driven mindset, and strong English and Chinese communication skills. You will collaborate with Trading, Structuring, and Sales Trading to deliver tailored solutions and ensure compliant onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in structured products with a strong focus on equity derivatives.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage market insights for revenue optimization.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning, client coverage, and tailored multi-asset investment product solutions.
• Bring client relationships for existing and potential business opportunities.
• Serve as a senior liaison between clients and internal teams to translate client activity into actionable insights and enhance service delivery.
• Oversee and continuously improve the client onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
• Champion initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce operational risk, and scale processes to support business expansion.
• Ensure high-quality bilingual trade documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide market colour, sales commentary, and tailored market insights to key institutional clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and structured product developments.
• Report on business performance, pipeline, and key issues to direct management while supporting broader regional strategic initiatives.

Drive client engagement, optimize sales operations, and lead strategic expansion across the Equity Derivatives commercial franchise in Asia. Focus on key institutional client coverage, including Private Banks, Securities Houses, and Family Offices across Hong Kong and Singapore.
