Job summary

Check Point is seeking a senior Security Engineer in Hong Kong to lead security design for GC-region customers, blending pre-sales, post-sales, and solution-architecture expertise. No two days are the same as you engage with customers to craft end-to-end security solutions, respond to proposals, and drive successful projects while training partners on Check Point technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in security engineering and pre-/post-sales or solution architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of typical customer networks.
• Ability to design end-to-end security solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE).

Responsibilities

• Drive meetings with large customers in GC region to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Develop security engineering designs and BOMs aligned with best practices.
• Respond to RFPs and deliver PoCs and implementation plans.
• Ensure project success and customer satisfaction, enabling future business.
• Educate partners and customers on Check Point technologies.
• Provide training and implement Check Point High-End products in complex networks.
• Engage in cyber security events and industry activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security projects.

Your role in a nutshell

No two days for a Check Point Security Engineer are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects!

You will be responsible for

• Driving meetings with major customers in GC region to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutions
• Be able to apply critical analysis to the client’s security environment and provides security engineering designs and implementation in alignment with industry best practices.
• Respond to customer requests for proposals, develop designs and bills of materials for cost-effective solutions.
• Drive projects success, improve customer’s satisfaction, and eventually get more business from customers.
• Addressing technical questions, offering insight into best practices and managing Proof-of-Concepts
• Engaging and educating key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Providing training and implementation of Check Point's High-End products incomplex networking environments
• Active participation in cyber security events

Qualifications

What you bring to the table

• Minimum of7 years of relevantsecurity engineering and pre-sales /post-sales/solution architect experience
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of typical customers networks
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
• Strong technology on security related.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE
