Job summary

PwC Senior Associate in Recovery and Resolution Planning focuses on delivering RRP advisory services for banking clients under HKMA regimes. You will develop robust recovery and resolution strategies, collaborate with clients to strengthen governance, and drive regulatory compliance while applying PwC methodologies.

The role emphasises end-to-end project management, cross-functional teamwork, and stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to influence senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CFA, FRM, CPA or equivalent are advantageous.
• 4+ years’ experience in banking, consulting, or financial services, specialising in risk and regulatory topics.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of RRP projects to HKMA guidelines and resolution planning requirements.
• Collaborate with client teams to strengthen resolution capabilities and governance frameworks.
• Lead or support Board-level simulation exercises, including stress scenarios and crisis-management strategies.
• Represent PwC in regulator discussions, presenting progress and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve clients’ processes, policies and controls.
