Job summary

Agilis Robotics Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an R&D Engineer to convert designs for manufacturing, develop SOPs, and plan verification activities. You will prepare mechanical and industrial design drawings, assist installation, and design prototypes according to features and specifications.

You will coordinate experimental setups and preclinical trials, review technical specs and test plans, and support vendor negotiations.

Qualifications

Bachelor or above degree in engineering or related discipline.
2 years experience preferred.
Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and KeyShot.
Experience in solution sourcing and procurement is a plus.
Willing to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

Convert to design for manufacturing, SOP development and verification planning.
Prepare mechanical drawings and industrial design drawings.
Assist mechanical and electronics installation.
Design prototypes according to features and specifications.
Provide technical execution and coordination for experimental set-ups & preclinical trials.
Review and prepare documentation such as functional specification, technical specification and test plan.
Assist vendor negotiations and site examinations.
Support overall robotics system development.
Optimize robotics instrument design and fabrication.
Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan.
Support any other tasks as assigned by team lead.
