Job summary

Executive Access in Hong Kong is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee risk management activities for the Hong Kong perimeter, reporting directly to the Head of Risk Hong Kong. The role covers fund and portfolio risk supervision, investment compliance monitoring, product and instrument reviews, and cross-functional support for stakeholders and clients.

You will interpret regulations, monitor rules across funds, assess new products from a risk standpoint, and lead risk review sessions with Investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, CS, or a quantitative field.
• 4–6 years of experience in risk management or related area within financial services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements, client mandates, prospectuses, and contractual investment limits.
• Oversee daily risk/compliance monitoring across funds and portfolios; detect breaches and coordinate timely resolution.
• Review and confirm the accuracy and efficiency of rules embedded in monitoring systems.
• Lead ongoing risk review sessions with Investment and Risk teams.
• Prepare regular portfolio reviews covering risk, liquidity, and exposures.
• Design and improve monitoring tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
