Job summary

Guangdong Finance Investment International Co., Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced risk professional to help establish and optimize the corporate risk management framework, conduct pre-investment due diligence, and monitor post-investment performance.

You will prepare risk reports for management and regulators, support the Investment Management and Risk Management Committees, and handle ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 5+ years of work experience, including 3+ years in a relevant role; priority to candidates with credit or equity approval experience in HK-based SOEs or central enterprises.
• Familiarity with the Hong Kong investment environment and local regulatory requirements.
• CFA, FRM, or CPA holders are preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin and English fluency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Assist in establishing and optimizing the corporate risk management framework, including risk appetite, delegation of authority, and company-wide policies.
• Pre-investment Review: Conduct independent or team-based due diligence; issue risk assessment reports for bonds, non-standard debts, private equity, and equity projects; identify risks and provide mitigation solutions.
• Post-investment Monitoring: Track the performance and market changes of invested projects; provide early warnings, action plans, and statistical analysis.
• Strategic Control: Analyze the implementation of strategic goals; prepare risk reports for management, headquarters, and regulatory bodies.
• Committee Support: Manage the daily secretarial operations of the Investment Management Committee and the Risk Management Committee.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
