Hong Kong Food Innovation and Technology Hub Limited is seeking a Research & Development Manager/Senior Officer to lead experimental R&D on nutritious, flavorful, and safe food products. You will manage lab operations, design protocols, analyze data, and supervise testing across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science/Technology or related field, 5+ years in food R&D, and strong English/Chinese communication for writing and presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Experience in Food R&D with a proven track record (5+ years).
• English and Chinese proficiency; articulate writing/presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct experimental R&D on innovative food products focusing on nutrition, flavor, and safety.
• Hands-on development of food formulations.
• Lab management including project development, design, equipment operation, sample prep, data analysis and testing.
• Prepare research proposals, manuscripts, and IP documents.

Research & Development Manager / Snior Officer

Job Specifications:

• Conduct experimental research and development on innovative food products with the focus on nutrition content, flavor and food safety
• Hands-on experiment on the development of food formulation
• Lab management, including project development, experimental and protocol design, lab equipment operation, sample preparation, material characterization, data analysis, performance testing
• Preparation of research project proposals, manuscripts and IP documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree holder or above, major in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines.
• At least 5-year working experience in related to Food Research & Development with proven track records. Candidates with less working experience may apply for R&D officer.
• Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing / presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Highly self-discipline and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
