Job summary

Caitong Securities (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is seeking a junior Investment Analyst to support fundamental research and financial modeling. The role involves analyzing stocks, bonds, and hedge funds to guide decisions and prepare investment memos and decks for the Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee.

You will provide portfolio updates, recommendations, and assist in capital raising and due diligence. Fresh graduates with up to 2 years' experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience or internship exposure in financial institutions/brokerages are welcome.
• High standard of integrity, ethics, and intellectual curiosity with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to react rapidly and manage urgent tasks. Multi-tasking competence under time pressure.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and market dynamics.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling), PowerPoint, and financial database tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Wind).
• Passed or currently pursuing CFA Level 1 is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Putonghua (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Assist in fundamental research across Stocks, Bonds, Hedge Funds to support investment decisions.
• Perform financial modeling and valuation (DCF, peer multiples) on target companies and market opportunities.
• Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and performance reports for the Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee.
• Provide timely portfolio updates and investment recommendations to the Portfolio Manager.
• Support capital raising, fundraising, and investor relations activities as needed.
• Participate in ad hoc investment projects, due diligence, and industry research assignments.
