Job summary

City University of Hong Kong is seeking a Research Assistant for the KeySteps@JC Phase Two project. The role involves coordinating with kindergartens and primary schools, collecting data for quantitative and qualitative studies, and performing analyses to support reporting.

The appointee will report to the Principal Investigators and Project Manager within the welfare arm of the project. The candidate should have a BA in Psychology/Social Sciences with relevant experience, strong English and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Social Work/Social Sciences with post-qualification experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Ability to perform research analysis independently and in teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Preference for knowledge of SPSS, R and NVivo.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with kindergartens and primary schools to schedule research activities.
• Assist in data collection for quantitative and qualitative studies.
• Assist in conducting research analyses and provide outputs for reporting.
• Support reporting processes and perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel between workplaces and weekend/public-holiday work.
